FAQ

At Breeze Air Conditioning, we have put our thinking caps on and put together a list of commonly asked questions to help with your queries. Give our Newcastle team a call if you require more information or would like to discuss your requirements.

Reverse-cycle air conditioning units have cooling and heating functions. Both ducted and split systems can be reverse-cycle.

That depends on the shape and size of your room. As a general rule of thumb, the minimum size for a 10m2 room is 1–1.5kw. Small rooms up to 20m2 require a 2–4kw unit and large spaces of up to 40m2 would require a 6–9kw unit. Contact our expert team to discuss your requirements in more detail and to get a quote.

You should get your air conditioner serviced at least once a year to make sure it runs efficiently. Commercial air conditioning systems may need to be serviced more regularly. Contact us to discuss setting up a regular maintenance service.

Again, this depends. If you use your air conditioner often you should clean the filters more often. Most manufacturers recommend cleaning your filter every 2–3 weeks.
Of course, this depends on how warm you like to be. As a general rule, set your air conditioner to 23–25 degrees on cool in summer and 18–21 degrees on heat in winter.
